These Bases are slotted, meaning they have a small opening around the edge for materials. Slotted Oak Bases are either round or oval-sized. Oak Slotted Bases can be paired and woven with Cane or Reeds. The slotted groove can also be widened to work with heavier materials. HH Perkins Oak Slotted Bases are very smooth. They can also be sanded, painted, or stained to your specifications.f
