Bone Closure Peg

Bone Closure Peg: The solid bone pegs are for Traditional Nantucket Purses. Bone closure pegs are custom-made to secure the lid of the Purse to the base of the Purse. Small purses use the 1-1/2" long tapered bone peg. Large basket purses need the 2" long tapered peg. The peg is designed with a groove at the top to accommodate the white string. Bone pegs are not used for plastic closure hasps.
