The Cane Webbing is plastic and 100% waterproof. The Canoe Kit is perfect for outdoor chairs and Rockers. Fine Plastic Cane Webbing measures a half inch from center-hole to center-hole.
Cane Webbing is used on a chair that has a groove around the perimeter. If your seat has drilled holes in the perimeter it requires Strand Cane. HH Perkins Canoe Kits come with all the materials and tools needed to complete an average-sized Canoe Seat or chair. Plastic Cane Webbing is also used inside.
The Canoe Kit comes with 18 inches of 18" Fine 1/2" Plastic Cane Webbing, #8.5 Reed Spline (Used for 13/64" Groove), a 1.7 oz bottle of clear drying glue, 5 wooden wedges, and a 1/8" Spline Remover Chisel.

18" Natural Canoe Kit: The Natural Plastic Cane Webbing is cream-colored. It mimics the look of Natural Strand Cane made from Rattan. Natural Plastic Cane Webbing is synthetic and has a glossy finish. The Natural Canoe Kit includes an 18" x 18" piece of Fine 1/2" Plastic Cane Webbing, a #8.5 Reed Spline, a 1.7 oz bottle of Glue, 5 Wedges, and a 1/8" Spline Remover Chisel.
18" Brown Canoe Kit: Brown Plastic Cane Webbing mimics the color of Strand Cane that has been stained. It is a light brown color similar to Teak Wood Stain. The Brown Canoe Kit includes an 18" x 18" piece of Fine 1/2" Brown Plastic Cane Webbing, a #8.5 Reed Spline, a 1.7 oz bottle of Glue, 5 Wedges, and a 1/8" Spline Remover Chisel.
