Nantucket Basket Weaving Class: Join HH Perkins owner Caryl DeFrancesco as we create a gorgeous Nantucket Coaster Mold Basket. Caryl, a Nantucket Lightship Basket weaver with over 20 years of experience teaching classes at HH Perkins', will show students all the techniques needed to make a multi-use, sleek Nantucket basket.
It will encapsulate all areas of creating a Nantucket Basket from start to finish. In this class, students will create a Nantucket Lightship Basket using a Coaster Mold.
Class Details
- Saturday, September 14th, from 9 am - 5 pm. Please arrive by 8:30 am.

- All of the materials and tools provided
- The class includes a 5.5" round Coaster Mold, a 4.5" Cherry Base, a 5.5" Solid Cherry Rim, 5mm tapered Staves, a 1.75mm Carriage Fine Strand Cane, a Bone Plug Set, a rubber band, a booklet, and a pattern.
